Improvement to Split View, single side

An improvement to split view could be that only one window goes into split view and the opposite side stays the way it is.

This would help with application that don't currently support this feature.

I was hoping to have one window on the right in split view, and have multiple other windows in normal format. Unfortunately with the current implementation, that's not possible. It's either 2 window split view or nothing.
